Maria Rose Belding

Maria Rose Belding is Stop Hunger Now’s 2015 President Clinton Hunger Leadership Award winner. She is a hunger advocate, social justice writer and founder/director of the MEANS Database, a food pantry communication system. She is the author of more than a dozen nationally published pieces on food security and poverty. Raised and retained in the ELCA church, Maria Rose also loves coffee, composing music, dancing with abandon, and coffee. She is a freshman at American University, where she studies public health.
